Spring is here!
Finally!
Today was devoted to yard work, then we enjoyed dinner on the patio. Sydney and I competed in field races while Brian refereed. Then ... we saw it. A hot air balloon in the distance.
But it kept coming closer and closer and closer ... then it began its descent.
We jumped in the car and chased it to a nearby field.
Sydney was ecstatic.
I'm pretty sure she's dreaming of the blue hot air balloon right now.

That's so cool. I haven't seen a hot air balloon in years!
Have just found your blog - hello! My daughter is obsessed with hot-air balloons for some reason and every night before she goes to sleep she asks when she can go in one. Unfortunately, I think they have to be much older!!
Lilly sleeps with hot air balloons over her bed everynight! You should come down for the hot air balloon take off at the state fair, it is actually the night after that kc concert so if you leave sydney at your sisters then you could head over there early the next day!
