Well, not exactly. Our friend Nicole said 'I do' to Jason on June 16. This is a photo of Amy (l-r), Sydney and Brian before the wedding. Sydney skipped the nuptials and spent the day/evening with her 'great' aunt Annette and 'great' uncle John ... she had such a good time she was wired past 11 p.m. The benefit was we ALL slept in Sunday morning.

Below is Sydney's lovely birth announcement photo. It is a few weeks old, but this seemed like a good photo to start the blog with! I selected this pose because she looks so pensive. Even in her ultrasound images, she looked thoughtful. Our 5-month-old daughter still looks wise for age.
